Reservation fee (excluding the Châtelet Cards): €3 per seat.
No reservation fees for holders of the Carte Châtelet. All reservations are final and definitive.

Please note that changes may occur in the course of the season (programs, cast, etc). Tickets cannot be refunded nor changed. Please check the date and time of your ticket. The performances start on time, and venue doors are closed once the curtain goes up. Latecomers must wait until intermission to enter.

Your tickets can be sent to you by land, mail, or kept for you at the Box Office in your name, to be collected 30 minutes before the performance starts, as you prefer.
Tickets ordered less than 14 days before the performance date will be held at the Box Office only (no land or mail delivery).Since no claims are accepted after the performance, make sure you receive your tickets.

Tickets can be purchased for all shows via the Internet, subject to seats available seating.
Holders of a Châtelet Cards must first identify themselves in the member area in order to get the discount.


Cards are available only for the 2016-2017 Théâtre du Châtelet season.
Cards can be used to log purchases and obtain special advantages for the 2016-2017 season (more details given below).
Random checks can be carried out at any time to verify the identity of cardholders.

Applicants for Carte Jeune and Carte Famille may be asked to provide proof of age.
Cardholders may be entitled to discounts for some shows; these tickets can be purchased only from the Théâtre du Châtelet (via all the usual sales channels).
Note however, that discounts for cardholders are not available for all shows of the 2016-2017 season.
Cardholders can also use their card to purchase seats at normal prices, and win points.
Any tickets purchased online, by telephone or by correspondence will either be sent by land mail or left at the Box Office in the card owner's name, to be picked up 30 minutes before the performance.
Tickets purchased less than 14 days before the performance date will be held at the Box Office N°1 only (no land mail delivery).
Seating will be assigned in the order of arrival of booking requests.


To benefit from the advantages, cardholders must either present their card at the Box Office, or give their card number via telephone, written correspondence or online (
Cardholders are entitled to discounts, which vary depending on the card.
The number of discounts available depends on the overall number of seats available.
Depending on the card, a cardholder is entitled to a certain number of discounts per series of shows (1 seat for the Carte Solo and the Carte Jeune, 2 seats for the Carte Duo, up to 3 seats for the Carte Famille).
Unless otherwise indicated, cardholders are entitled to their discounts up to one month before the first show of a given series.
Cardholders earn one point for each euro purchased. This applies right from the first purchase (including the card itself).
Points can be earned on all seats purchased by the cardholder. On earning 100 points, the cardholder is entitled to a reduction of €5, to be automatically redeemed on the next purchase.
Points earned during the 2015-2016 season must be used before the end of the season; points cannot be brought forward from season to season.
However, euros earned during the final purchase of the 2015-2016 season will entitle the cardholder to a discount during the first purchase of the 2016-2017 season.
If less than 100 points have been earned during the final purchase of the 2015-2016 season, they will be carried forward to the 2016-2017 season for every purchase of a new card or formula; otherwise they are lost.


If your card gets lost or stolen, contact the Châtelet Public Relations Department; your current card will be cancelled and a new one issued.
Information held on the previous card will be transferred to the new one (total points earned, purchasing history, etc).


The term Group describes any party (excluding theatre and public relations agencies) purchasing at least 10 seats in one single transaction for a given show.

Booking requests are accommodated as soon as the Box Office opens, and are processed in order of arrival, up to the applicable limits.

Options are confirmed once approved; you should make sure that you receive such a confirmation and contact us if there is a problem.


Bookings are to be paid for in their entirety in one single operation.The following means of payment are accepted:
- cheque to the order of "Théâtre du Châtelet";
- credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club).


Your tickets will be sent to you by standard land mail once payment received. Once booked, the sale is considered definitive, and can no longer be cancelled or changed. Since no claims are accepted after the show, make sure you receive your tickets; if need be, contact the Service Collectivités (for groups).
Tickets cannot be refunded nor changed.No tickets may be re-sold for profit or commercial gain; any party found doing so is liable to be sentenced under French penal code (law of 27 June 1919).


Shows begin on time, and venue doors are closed once the curtain goes up. If the production has an interval, latecomers may take their seats at this point.
If a show has to be stopped more than halfway through, tickets will not be reimbursed.
The casting may be changed.
It is prohibited to record (photographs, films, sound recordings, etc.) any part of the show.
